Our colourful truck sandbox with shade cover is a best seller . Furthermore, the interactive truck with the shade covered sandbox is an absolute winner!
The Truck sandbox shade cover is ideal for toddlers between 2 and 4 years old. In addition, the 1.5m x 1.5m meter sandbox allows for 3 to 4 toddlers to play simultaneously. The beauty of this sandbox lies in the folding bench lid. Let the kids play all afternoon. When you are done then simply close the lid and you’ll keep cats, dogs and debris out.
The truck is also wide enough to fit through a standard 80 cm doorway and 1 meter in length. It’s equipped with some very cute features. Such as a little toy storage box under the seat, steering wheel and rearview mirror. The back of the truck has a small window so the kids can peek out the back, and check on their friends.
The colourful truck sandbox with shade cover is bright, interactive and highly recommended.
Furthermore, the bottom of the truck is painted with an anti-rot product. The base of the sandbox is lined with a porous weed guard material. As a result, this material will prevent weeds from growing through the sand, and allow rainwater to filter out the bottom. It’s impossible to keep the sand bone dry after a huge storm. However, It does work wonders keeping out “unwanted treasures” from animals in the neighbourhood. If water does get in, then simply shift the sand around with a spade, and try to keep the lid open until the sand dries out.
Our Silica play sand is washed and prepared and is delivered in 40 kg bags. It’s commonly used at schools, and its relatively easy to dust off.
This Colourful truck sandbox with a shade cover is painted with a water-based sealer to give it its colour. We use a sealer with an anti-mould additive for the inside of the sandbox. Our sealers will repel moisture, and in turn, prolonging the life of the timber.
The depth of the sandbox is 20 cm, and seats fold back making the entire width of the sandbox roughly 1.8 m
